Magical Encounters Board Game
Packaging designed at Mattel for Magic 8-Ball Magical Encounters, a family game inspired by the classic Magic 8-Ball toy. In this game, players work together to find crystals to save the kingdom from Gadworm the Dragon, while asking the 8-Ball key questions along the way. The game was designed by Tara Kim and written by Mary Sadonsky, with illustrations by Evelt Yanait. Magical Encounters was nominated for a 2023 TOTY Award (Toy of the Year) in the Games category and is available to purchase here.
